Around the House
My Christmas tree is gone and all of my holiday decorations boxed up and out of sight until next year. I tend to rearrange my house after the holidays in an attempt to freshen up for the new year. Here are some detail photos from in and around my home this weekend. How about you -have you dragged your tree to the burn pile yet?

I thought I'd be sad to see our tree down, but the newly open space is so inviting to me. I am doing a major redecorate here - I thought I'd be putting some blue paint on the walls in the new windowseat area this afternoon, but on a closer look I need to do more prep work on the walls. It is always about prep, it seems!
